Grew up with family dogs and in a neighborhood of pets, many of which I volunteered to walk regularly throughout elementary and middle school. I went on to volunteer with a dog rescue in high school and when I moved into my own apartment at 18, I began fostering small animals for the Humane Society. In the 8 years since then, I’ve had almost every type of pet come through my house, which has given me plenty of animal experience!
I am capable of handling large and energetic pets, but my greatest strength is patience. I have no problem sitting quietly with your pet for as long as I need to in order to gain their trust and build a relationship with them.
I can walk dogs, cats, rabbits, reptiles, ferrets, and outdoor animals (pigs, goats, donkeys, horses but I won’t ride). I can also be hired during my “walking time” to assist when training or socializing pets, and do “pet chores” (litter box cleaning, setting up, helping move animals from one enclosure to another, etc.).
