Dog Walker in Boston, MA

Hi, My name is Cassie, I'm 26 years old and live in Salem. Over the past 8 years I have worked with just about every critter imaginable: small animals, large animals, and even wildlife! I grew up always having pets, and through working as a kennel & daycare provider, pet sitter, and veterinary technician I have learned much about the ins and outs of our favorite furry companions. I am comfortable and confident in dealing with every request whether it's a dietary preference, behavioral quirk, or medical need. I love that every animal is unique and has their very own personality and I can't wait to get to know your pet's!See Profile

Dog Walker in Boston, MA

My name is Olivia. I am 26 years old and currently working in Museum Education at a Boston museum. I own 3 dogs: a 15 year-old Border Terrier named Toffee, a 7 year-old Pekingese named Coco, and a recent rescue with special needs-Nila. I have been dog sitting/walking on and off for the past 3 years. I have experience working with all age ranges of dogs, and many different breeds, just to name a few: German Shepard Mix, Lab/Pit Mix, Collies and Yorkshire Terriers. From being a pet owner I understand things like: asking for your older dog to be carried down stairs or knowing your dog can only poop on grass! I want to give you and your dog the best experience possible with extra care (and alway...See Profile

Dog Walker in Boston, MA

I have had dogs all my life, and when I'm home on breaks from university I work at a doggy day care and boarding center where I help take care of the dogs and supervise dog play groups. Because of this I am very well versed in dog behavior! I treat everyone's dogs the way I would want by two dogs to be treated.See Profile

Dog Walker in Boston, MA

Hi! I’m Catherine! I’m a film student currently and spend my free time exploring the city and hanging out in the Common. I love dogs and have three at home. I miss them very much! I spend most of my time around downtown and in the backbay area so those areas work best for me. I am punctual and organized and have a fairly flexible schedule apart from my college courses which are mostly midday. If you’re dog likes certain toys or treats, I’ll be more than happy to bring some along! I have had dogs my entire life and have experience with puppies as well as elderly dogs. Let me know what you need! I’ll try and make your life a little easier.See Profile

Common Questions

  • How can I book a walk in Boston?

Download our app or create an account from our website. Once logged in, select "Book a Walk." Select or add the pet's you'd like us to walk on the next screen, and add in any important tasks you'd like for your walker to complete. It's as simple as that!

  • Can I meet a walker before booking with them?

Yes! All our meet and greets are complementary and free of charge. You can browse through profiles and read our walker bios by tapping on "See Local Caretakers" on the homescreen. When you find a walker who seems like a good match, you will request a Meet and Greet with them to set up a time for a meeting. You can also opt to have us match you with a professional walker. Walkers will start reaching out to you as early as the same day you request the Meet and Greet.

  • What are the prices for dog walks in Boston?

Our dog walkers set their own prices for 30 minute and 60 minute walks. Browse their profiles in the app or on our website to find the walker with the right experience and rates for you and your dog.

  • Can I have the same walker each time I book?

We believe the best experience for your dog is a consistent walker, and when you book with Barkly, you will book with the same walker. If that walker is unavailable, you’ll have the option to cancel the walk or request that we send a backup walker.

  • Do I get to see the route my walker takes on the walk?

You will be able to track each walk route in the app so you know precisely where your dog was walked. All visits are also followed up with detailed notes and pictures from the walker, so you know exactly how each visit went. Additionally, we offer 24/7 live customer support, so if you ever need anything, we are always here happy to help!
