Brookland boasts some of the most dog friendly walking in the city. This quiet neighborhood situated among Catholic University, Trinity Washington University, Monastaries, and multiple parks has plenty of open space and great walking routes for dogs to get exercise. You can always find some dogs walking the Metropolitan Branch Trail or in Fort Bunker Hill Park, a favorite of Barkly Pet’s walkers in Brookland.
Hey I'm Felicia! I've had dogs my whole life- a boxer and now a chihuahua terrier. My dog is back home in Texas, so I miss her dearly and would love to walk your sweet puppy and give them lots of love! I'm a runner so if your dog is one who likes a faster pace I can totally keep up with that. Excited to embark on my second year as a Barkly Walker as this school year starts back up and hopefully revisit my regulars as well as meet many new pups!
When I was in elementary school, I checked out every single book about dogs from my school's library (possibly more than once). When I was 8, I met my best friend for the past 13 years: Ginger the Beagle. I have experience walking and caring for dogs with wide personality ranges from the extremely exuberant to the skittish and timid. I am excited to meet your furry family members!
Hi! I have 3+ years of dog sitting and walking experience. I own an adorable, playful, 20-lb mutt named Sammi. I’ve taken care of many dogs, including ones Sammi’s size and larger ones weighing 70+ lbs. I am currently a student at the University of Maryland, and since I had some extra time and wanted to do something fun, I joined Barkly! I‘m excited to meet your pets!!
