Hi there! I'm a student at Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!) and majoring in Wildlife Conservation. I've always had a passion for the welfare of all animals, and I want to ensure that your family member gets the best care possible. Some previous experience of mine is that I've had 5 dogs of my own throughout my life, and have volunteered at adoption events for both cats and dogs.Let's get to know each other, and I promise I don't bite!If you are satisfied and happy with my care, feel free to let others know and to use my code: walk0385mic (gets you $50 in credit for walks!)See Profile
Seriously! You get then best pictures of him. His relief summary wasn’t included in the notes - anyway you can let me know if he peed and pooped? Thanks!
Harper - thanks for trying! Next time, you are welcome to take him right back in. As you can see, he is not a fan of the rain!
Thanks as always for the great walk and informative updates- makes me happy to know she’s getting in a fun afternoon outing!
Thanks for taking a little extra time with Rosie today! With all the rain this week, she's got lots of energy to get out!
Thanks as always! She’s OBSESSED with that dog park- she always pulls me that way. Glad you guys are having nice walks!
Too funny- she was on a sniffing mission during her evening walk too! Thanks for being patient and letting her explore!
Thanks, Yerlenys. I think it would be better to moderate Paisley’s reaction to the neighbor’s dog. Thanks for checking.
Thank you for calling about their food intake. They are finicky creatures :) hopefully they'll eat more dry food today!
Thanks, Yerlenys. No worries about the puddle. I think it is coming from the old refrigerator we have in the garage.
Totally fine- so sorry, completely forgot to leave a towel out! Thanks so much for the walk in the nasty weather!!
Thanks for concerning yourself with the mess they the dogs created in the garage. It was no big deal in the end.
Thank you, Felicia!! They are super friendly :) glad you were able to find everything ok. Have a great weekend!
Yes, Alex has been doing really well lately. The daily walks/ daycare have helped tremendously. Thank you!
Great idea on the envelope! Thanks for taking Rosie on such a good walk despite the nasty weather (again!)
Treats are always fine! She somehow knows exactly where those are and makes a beeline for the desk :)
Thank you so much! Glad Ollie had someone to play with besides Bruce and that Bruce got lots of love.
Feel the Bern! Thanks so much for taking care of our kitties. Hope we can hire you in the future!
Thanks for the note and for contacting me with this issue. I'm sorry my dog was a jerk to you.
I'm sure Rosie was so excited to see you back! Thanks for giving her a great walk, as always!
She's probably embarrassed by how goofy her haircut is!! Thanks for walking her, as always!!

Can I meet a walker before booking with them?
Yes! All our meet and greets are complementary and free of charge. You can browse through profiles and read our walker bios by tapping on "See Local Caretakers" on the homescreen. When you find a walker who seems like a good match, you will request a Meet and Greet with them to set up a time for a meeting. You can also opt to have us match you with a professional walker. Our dog walkers set their own prices for 30 minute and 60 minute walks. Browse their profiles in the app or on our website to find the walker with the right experience and rates for you and your dog.
Can I have the same walker each time I book?
We believe the best experience for your dog is a consistent walker, and when you book with Barkly, you will book with the same walker. If that walker is unavailable, you’ll have the option to cancel the walk or request that we send a backup walker.
Do I get to see the route my walker takes on the walk?
You will be able to track each walk route in the app so you know precisely where your dog was walked.
